Kids’ Christmas Party Reminder

Happy Friday!

I apologize if our last update was confusing. This message will hopefully clear things up a bit. Here are the party details as described in the NEWS tab:

The annual Kids’ Christmas Party will be held on December 13th from 1pm-3pm at Beloit New Life Church. The theme this year is “The Three Gifts of the Magi” and we will have three “gift” stations. 1) Gift in a Jar to give away – bring a quart size jar with a lid and a dollar inside to pay for ingredients (RSVP number of jars you will be bringing for your family to Marcee T. to ensure we have enough ingredients); 2) Gift exchange – bring a Dollar Tree gift (no more than $1) wrapped and labeled by age; 3) Gift for nursing home residents – we’ll be decorating special stars to gift to our local nursing home residents. Also, please bring a finger food dish to share (a dozen or more). We hope everyone is able to join in this memorable celebration of our Savior’s birth!

Here’s what you need to bring with you:

  • 1 empty quart size jar (must be able to hold a quart; mason jars or old mayonnaise jars are great for this) with $1 inside for each gift you want to make – for instance if you have 3 kids and want to make 2 gift jars each, please bring 6 empty jars with $1 inside each one
  • 1 Dollar Tree gift wrapped with boy/girl and age noted on the outside for each child participating in the gift exchange
  • One finger food snack per family (at least a dozen of something or more)
  • Your holiday cheer!!!

Looking forward to seeing all of you then!
